The role of the Material Handling Equipment Operator (MHE1 1) is tocarry out work in the warehouse as required by supervisors, in terms of meeting plans and operational indicators. In particular, loading, unloading, moving, storing, checking, packing goods and work related to the aforementioned aids, as well as work with the relevant technical equipment and documentation. Work performance is measured by indicators of achievement of set productivity targets. The Material Handling Operator 1 must meet the skill level of working with a scanner and on a low lift truck (LFT).
The Material Handling Operator 2 (MHE 2) ensures the control of the customer’s goods delivery in relation to the delivery manual, is responsible for resolving any identified discrepancies so that the goods can be accepted into the warehouse system and subsequently carry out all warehouse operations without the risk of inventory loss, damage to goods, or injury resulting from incorrect labelling, packaging and palletisation of goods.
Wage conditions
- Basic wage – Material Handling Equipment Operator 1 (MHE 1) – 7,18 €/hour. gross – 1 171,-€ / gross/ month
- Basic wage – Material Handling Equipment Operator 2 (MHE 2) – 7,91 €/hour. gross – 1 229,- €/ gross/ month
- Monthly bonus from 0 to 10% of salary
- Overtime bonus 2 or 4 €/hour for each paid overtime hour above the threshold of 15
hours per month - Night surcharge 1,72/hour. gross
- National holiday 100%
- Overtime – basic wage + 40% of average hourly wage
- Surcharge for Saturday – 2,16 €/hour
- Surcharge for Sunday – 4,31 Eur/hour
- Meals – value of 1 meal ticket 5,85 € – 100% paid by the employer
